Originally from Myrtle Point. Mindy moved to Springfield in 1965 and attended Thurston schools and Lane Community College. Married for 49 years to Ron Kephart, a local homebuilder and Rainbow water consumer for his entire life. Built their home in Hayden Bridge area 44 years ago. Worked in accounting 21 years for Bi-Mart, 16 years for United Pipe, then retired from Levi Strauss. Appointed to the Budget Committee in 2022, and elected to the Board of Commissioners May 2023. Mindy loves travel, walking and kayaking, and is happy her grandkids live local.
